Getting started

What you need to put a website online, how domains and hosting work together, and how quickly your account activates.

6 questions
What do I need to launch a website in Nepal?

You need two things: a domain name (the address people type, such as yourbusiness.com.np) and a web hosting plan (where your website files, images, databases and emails live). Once you order both and point the domain at your hosting nameservers, your website can go live the same day.

Which hosting plan should I start with for a new site?

Start with Starter (Rs 1,799/yr on a 1-year plan, or Rs 1,599/yr on 3 years) for a personal blog, student project or first company page. Choose Growth (Rs 2,699/yr) if you want higher CPU and memory resources plus a free .com domain for year one, or Business (Rs 4,399/yr) for busy WooCommerce shops and agencies.

How fast is my hosting account set up after payment?

Standard cPanel and WordPress hosting plans activate automatically within a few minutes after your eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, ConnectIPS or bank transfer payment clears. We email your client-area login, cPanel credentials and nameservers right away so you can start building or request a free migration.

Do I need technical server skills to manage my website?

No. Our web hosting plans include the cPanel control panel, where you can install WordPress in one click, create business email addresses, upload files and restore daily backups from your browser. If you ever get stuck, message us on WhatsApp and a real person replies.

Can I buy hosting now and connect my domain later?

Yes. If your .com.np application is still being reviewed by the registry or your domain is with another registrar, we give you a temporary preview link so you can build and test your website immediately. When your domain is ready, we help you point it to your plan.

Can I upgrade my plan later if my website grows?

Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Growth or Business—or move up to a Nepal VPS—at any time from your client area. You only pay the pro-rated difference for the remaining months of your current billing period, and your files and emails stay in place.

Hosting

How cPanel, WordPress hosting and VPS servers work, what is unlimited on every plan, and what differs between tiers.

6 questions
What is genuinely unlimited on every web hosting plan?

Every Baddas Cloud web hosting and WordPress plan (Starter, Growth and Business) includes unlimited websites, NVMe storage, bandwidth, subdomains, email accounts and MySQL databases. There is no per-site fee and no per-gigabyte traffic surcharge. Accounts are for normal websites and business email under our acceptable-use rules.

cPanel web hosting limits →Terms of service →

If storage and websites are unlimited, what differs between Starter, Growth and Business?

Plans differ in four ways: the CPU and memory allowance allocated to your account (Standard, Higher or Highest), how long daily backups are kept (14 days on Starter/Growth vs 30 days on Business), a free first-year .com domain on Growth, and priority support on Business.

What is the difference between cPanel web hosting and WordPress hosting?

Both run on our NVMe SSD, LiteSpeed servers with cPanel. cPanel web hosting plans (Starter at Rs 1,799/yr, Growth at Rs 2,699/yr and Business at Rs 4,399/yr) suit general websites and custom PHP apps. WordPress hosting plans (WP Launch at Rs 1,999/yr, WP Pro at Rs 2,899/yr and WP Scale at Rs 4,299/yr) come pre-configured with WordPress, LiteSpeed Cache, one-click staging and automatic pre-update backups.

When should I choose a VPS instead of cPanel web hosting?

Choose cPanel web hosting for standard company websites, blogs, portfolios and small online shops. Choose a VPS (starting at Rs 1,299/mo) when you need full root SSH access, custom runtimes like Node.js, Python or Go daemons, custom system packages, or dedicated CPU and RAM that are never shared.

VPS hosting in Nepal →International VPS hosting →

Where are your hosting servers located?

Our web hosting and local VPS plans run on Nepal-based servers so pages open with low latency for visitors on Nepali mobile and fibre networks. If most of your customers or users are outside Nepal, we also offer international VPS locations.

Nepal VPS hosting →International VPS hosting →

Can I host multiple websites for different clients on one plan?

Yes. Because every web hosting plan allows unlimited websites, subdomains, email accounts and MySQL databases, you can host multiple brand or client sites inside one cPanel account. Choose Growth or Business so all of those sites share a higher CPU and memory allowance.

Domains

Registering .com, .net, .org and free .com.np domains, changing nameservers, DNS propagation and domain transfers.

6 questions
How much does a domain name cost in Nepal?

A .com domain is Rs 1,799 for the first year, renews at Rs 2,199/yr and transfers at Rs 1,999. A .org is Rs 1,599/yr (renews at Rs 1,999/yr) and a .net is Rs 2,000/yr (renews at Rs 2,300/yr), all excluding 13% VAT. The Growth hosting plan includes a free .com domain for the first year.

How do I get a free .com.np domain in Nepal?

The Nepal registry (Mercantile Communications) issues .com.np domains free of charge to eligible Nepali businesses, organisations and citizens. Your chosen domain must match your registered company name, brand or personal ID, and you submit your registration certificate or citizenship card with our nameservers.

How do I point my domain to Baddas Cloud hosting?

Open the domain management panel at your registrar and replace the existing nameservers with the Baddas Cloud nameservers sent in your welcome email. If you registered your domain with us, we set the nameservers automatically—or message us on WhatsApp and we will configure them for you.

Domain registration & DNS →

Why is my domain not opening right after I change nameservers?

When you update nameservers or DNS records, internet providers around the world refresh their cached address books gradually. This is called DNS propagation and normally finishes within 15 minutes to 24 hours. During that window, some networks see the new server before others.

Contact support on WhatsApp →

How do I transfer a domain I already own to Baddas Cloud?

Unlock your domain at your current registrar, copy the EPP/Auth transfer code, and place a domain transfer order with us. Because a registrar transfer keeps your existing nameservers and DNS records intact, your website and business email stay online throughout the transfer.

Transfer a domain to Baddas Cloud →

What happens if I forget to renew my domain before it expires?

We send renewal reminders before your domain expiry date. If a domain passes its expiry date, its website and email stop working and it enters a short registry grace window before being released for anyone else to register. Always renew domains before the expiry date.

Email

Creating @yourdomain business mailboxes, accessing webmail, connecting phones or Outlook, and keeping emails out of spam.

6 questions
Is business email included with web hosting plans?

Yes. Every cPanel and WordPress hosting plan includes unlimited email accounts on your own domain (such as info@yourbusiness.com.np or sales@yourbusiness.com) at no extra monthly charge. Your mailboxes share your hosting account storage.

See cPanel web hosting →

How do I create a new email address like hello@yourbusiness.com?

Log in to cPanel, open Email Accounts, click Create, choose your domain, type the username (such as hello) and set a strong password. Your new mailbox works immediately in browser webmail and in mobile or desktop mail apps.

Explore cPanel features →

How do I read my business email on my phone or in Outlook and Gmail?

You can check email from any browser via Webmail, or connect Apple Mail, Gmail, Outlook or Thunderbird using the SSL/TLS IMAP and SMTP settings shown inside cPanel under Email Accounts → Connect Devices. Ask us on WhatsApp if you want help setting up a phone.

Contact support for email setup →

How do I stop my outgoing business emails from landing in spam?

Deliverability depends on three DNS records: SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Our cPanel plans configure SPF and DKIM automatically when your domain uses our nameservers. If your domain uses external DNS such as Cloudflare, message us and we will help you copy the exact SPF and DKIM records.

Ask our team to check your DNS →

Can I use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 alongside Baddas Cloud hosting?

Yes. If your company uses Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or Zoho Mail for email, we point your domain MX, SPF and DKIM records to your email provider while keeping your website hosted on Baddas Cloud. Tell our support team and we will add the records for you.

Contact support →

Will I lose my old emails if I move my website to Baddas Cloud?

No. When our team performs a free migration from another cPanel host, we copy your existing email accounts, folders and messages along with your website files and databases so your inbox history stays intact after you switch nameservers.

Billing and payments

Paying in Nepali rupees with eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, ConnectIPS or bank transfer, how 13% VAT is calculated, renewal pricing and our refund policy.

6 questions
Which payment methods do you accept in Nepal?

We accept eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay, ConnectIPS or bank transfer. All invoices are billed in Nepali rupees (NPR), so you never need an international dollar card or USD credit card to buy or renew hosting, domains or VPS servers.

See all plans and prices in NPR →

Do the prices shown on your website include 13% VAT?

No. Plan and domain prices on our website exclude 13% VAT so you can compare base monthly and annual rates cleanly. At checkout, 13% VAT is added and shown before you pay: for example, a Rs 1,000 subtotal + 13% VAT (Rs 130) = Rs 1,130 total.

View pricing table →

Why do you show both “Due today” and “Renews at” on every plan?

Many hosting providers advertise a low first-year discount and hide a steep renewal jump in footnotes. On every Baddas Cloud plan card, we display both the first-term rate and the exact renewal rate (Starter renews at Rs 1,799/yr, Growth at Rs 2,699/yr, Business at Rs 4,399/yr) before you order.

Compare first-term and renewal prices →

Can I get a VAT invoice in my company’s name and PAN/VAT number?

Yes. Enter your company name, address and PAN/VAT number in your client-area billing profile before paying, or open a billing ticket with your details, and we will issue a compliant VAT invoice for your accounting records.

Contact billing support →

What is your refund policy if I cancel my hosting plan?

Eligible web hosting plans include a 14-day money-back window. If the plan is not right for you within the first 14 days, request a refund from your client area. Domain name registrations are paid directly to the registry and are non-refundable once registered.

Read the full refund policy →

Can I switch between 1-year, 2-year and 3-year billing cycles?

Yes. Choosing a 2-year or 3-year billing cycle lowers your yearly rate (Starter drops from Rs 1,799/yr to Rs 1,699/yr on 2 years and Rs 1,599/yr on 3 years, and Growth drops from Rs 2,699/yr to Rs 2,599/yr on 2 years and Rs 2,399/yr on 3 years). You can also change your billing cycle before your next renewal date by opening a ticket.

Migration

How our support engineers move your website, database and emails from your old host for free with zero downtime.

6 questions
Is website migration really free on every plan?

Yes. Every Baddas Cloud hosting plan includes free human-assisted migration (Rs 0 fee). Our support engineers copy your website files, themes, plugins, MySQL databases and email accounts from your old hosting provider so you do not have to move files manually.

Free website migration page →

Will my website go offline while you migrate it?

No. Your live website stays running on your old host while we copy your files and databases to Baddas Cloud in the background. We give you a preview link to test everything first, and you only switch your domain nameservers once you are happy.

See our 4-step migration process →

What details do you need from me to start a free migration?

We need your domain name, the login details for your old hosting control panel (such as cPanel or your WordPress admin login), and whether your domain DNS or business email is managed there. Share credentials only inside an authenticated client-area support ticket.

Start a free migration →Contact support →

How long does a free website migration take?

Most standard WordPress and cPanel website migrations are completed and ready on a preview link the same day we receive your old hosting access. Large multi-gigabyte stores or multi-site accounts can take longer, and we tell you the timeline before starting.

Free website migration details →

Can you migrate my site if my old host does not use cPanel?

Yes. If your current provider uses Plesk, DirectAdmin, CyberPanel, a custom VPS or a managed WordPress dashboard, our engineers can migrate your site using WordPress backups, SSH/SFTP file transfers and database exports.

Ask our team about your current host →

Should I cancel my old hosting plan before or after the migration?

Always keep your old hosting account active until our team finishes the migration, you verify the preview link, and your domain nameserver change has propagated for 24 to 48 hours. Once all traffic is arriving on Baddas Cloud, you can safely cancel your old host.

Security and backups

Free SSL certificates, automated daily backups, restoring a broken site, account isolation and uptime commitments.

6 questions
Is an SSL certificate (HTTPS padlock) free on every website?

Yes. Every website and subdomain hosted on Baddas Cloud receives a free SSL certificate automatically, enabling https:// and the browser padlock icon at Rs 0. Certificates renew automatically so they never expire unexpectedly.

How often do you back up my website, and how long are backups kept?

We take an automated daily backup of your files, databases and emails. Daily backups are retained for 14 days on Starter and Growth, and for 30 days on Business, so you can roll back if an update or edit goes wrong.

Compare backup retention by plan →

How do I restore a backup if a plugin update breaks my site?

You can restore individual files, a MySQL database or your full account from cPanel in a few clicks. If you prefer not to touch it yourself, message us on WhatsApp or open a support ticket telling us which date to restore, and our engineers will restore it for you.

Contact support for a restore →

How are websites isolated from each other on cPanel hosting?

Even though multiple accounts run on the same physical server, each account is isolated in its own container with its own file permissions, database credentials and CPU/memory ceiling. Other customers on the server cannot view or access your files, databases or emails.

How cPanel hosting works →

What uptime target do you promise, and where is your SLA?

We target 99.9% network and server availability, backed by our written Service Level Agreement (SLA). Our SLA sets out how uptime is measured, what scheduled maintenance exclusions apply, and how service credits work if we ever fall short.

What should I do if my WordPress site shows a critical error or malware warning?

Message us on WhatsApp or open a support ticket right away. We can help you check the error log, disable a faulty plugin or theme, or restore a clean daily backup from before the issue started so your visitors are not left looking at a broken page.
